General description
Sigmas 1 kb Ladder contains 11 fragments consisting of 500 bp repeats from 0.5 to 3 kb 1 kb repeats from 3 to 6 kb and 2 kb repeats from 6 to 10 kb. In nucleic acid gel electrophoresis five & 956;l of the marker should be diluted in gel loading buffer and then loaded in a single lane on an agarose or polyacrylamide gel. Suitable for use in Northern and Southern blotting. All DNA markers can be stained with ethidium bromide SYBR Green and Nancy-520.

Other Notes
For optimal resolution the recommended agarose gel concentration is 0.75%.
