Safety Photo Guard with Intelligent Bypass
guard has all other features as our normal safety guard except that it has provision for forcing some of its channels not to detect the blockage in their path. This feature is called as Bypass. The channels thus programmed into bypass condition are said to be bypassed and the guard is considered to be working in Bypass mode.

Programming of channels into bypass condition is often a requirement in industrial conditions. Some of the common Situation which necessitate the guard to work in bypass mode are as follows:

a) A machine element may at times pass through the detectable
area of the Photo Guard.
b) Guard mounting conditions may compel blockage of certain
Channels.
c) Job loaded on the machine may need to pass through the
detectable area of the Photo Guard.
d) Access to certain ( non hazardous ) area of machine may need
to be allowed although it is covered by Safety Guard.
