Q. How does an air compressor work?
Answer
An air compressor forces excessive ambient air into its storage chamber via an intake valve. Then, it compresses the air using mechanical forces while also increasing its pressure. When pressure reaches a pre-set, the device shuts off. The pressurized air held inside the compressor is released via an outlet valve as per the requirement.
