Panel air filters are a common type of air filtration equipment widely employed across multiple industries encompassing steel electronics chemicals automotive environmental protection power generation HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning) systems healthcare biopharmaceuticals food and beverage industries among others. The primary function of these filters is to capture dust bacteria viruses pollen and other pollutants from the air thereby purifying it and ensuring a clean and healthy indoor environment.
Filtration Principle: Panel air filters utilize a mechanical filtration principle employing filter media such as synthetic glass fibers to isolate and retain large particles and microparticles suspended in the air. Typically they are rated with filtration grades G1 G2 G3 G4 etc. effectively removing particles larger than 1-2 micrometers in diameter.
Material Properties: The filter media consists of high-efficiency filtration fibers characterized by large dust holding capacity long service life low pressure drop and substantial dust capture capabilities. The design incorporating galvanized iron mesh provides protection to the filter media preventing damage and deformation due to pressure.
Installation & Cleaning: The installation dimensions vary according to the equipment model accommodating various specifications. For cleaning one can open the intake grill in the equipment remove the filter and then use a vacuum cleaner or warm water for rinsing. When necessary a soft brush and neutral detergent can be employed. After cleaning the filter should be thoroughly dried and reinstalled.
